Intergenerational Differences conference

Intergenerational Differences conference

We would like to invite you to attend our conference on Intergenerational Differences and their impact on financial services to be held on 2 July 2019 with registration from 08:30 and the conference starting at 09:00 and finishing at 16:00.

It is our belief that in these times of social, political, and economic change, the financial sector needs to ensure the diverse needs of the UK population are met. To do this, our sector needs to understand the financial needs of different age groups and how they change over time.

This all-day conference will be based on our recently-published Intergenerational Differences Discussion Paper, which sets outs our proposed approach to the drivers of intergenerational change across Millenials, Generation X and Baby Boomers. It considers the implications of these changes for financial services in the mortgages, pensions, consumer credit, and insurance sectors, as well as the intergenerational challenges in terms of financial needs. The key focus of this conference will be to provide space for the international and UK financial sector to debate concrete actions to address these issues.

This conference will bring together leading thinkers and influencers from global financial firms, financial organisations, think-tanks, government, other regulators, trade associations, and academia. We do hope that you are able to join us on the day to help shape and develop this important debate.

The full agenda and speakers will be available soon.
